In 2011, Piemonte worked as stunt coordinator on the drama series Southland. For the episode "Graduation Day", he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2011 for Outstanding Stunt Coordination. On this episode he worked with Trek stuntmen Brian Avery, Eric Norris, and Harry Wowchuk. Between 2010 and 2011 he also worked as stunt coordinator on the television series The Defenders, The Paul Reiser Show, and Men of a Certain Age as well as on the television comedy My Freakin' Family (2011) and the drama God Bless America (2011, with Paul Eliopoulos).
