Paul Schiffer is a writer who wrote the story for the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Conundrum" in 1991.

Schiffer also wrote stories for episodes of St. Elsewhere (1983, along with David Assael), Simon & Simon (1986, with Mary Carver and Nicholas Worth), Hunter (1987, with Valerie Wildman), Jake and the Fatman (1991, with Lori Hallier, Frank Collison, and Pamela Kosh), and Murder, She Wrote (1989, 1990 and 1995, with William Windom, Richard Riehle, Ken Olandt, Robert Curtis Brown, Sam Anderson, W. Morgan Sheppard, and Wren T. Brown).
