Parsteel was a metal alloy with a tensile strength of forty kilobars.
A length of parsteel was bent by the android Lieutenant Commander Data in 2365, as a demonstration of his megastrength, during a formal hearing to determine his sentience. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")
