Parsion III was a the third planet in the Parsion system.
In 2373, feldomite was discovered here which led to a complete crash of the Sepian Commodities Exchange; among the many people who lost money due to the feldomite discovery was Quark. (DS9: "Business as Usual")
According to the script, the pronunciation for Parsion was "PAR-shun". [1]
