The Paraagans were an alien species.

Previously, the Paraagans had been a matriarchal society, but in the 2140s the males made great strides toward equal rights. They are a very ceremonial race; their funeral customs depend on the existence of remains. They had a mining colony on Paraagan II. (ENT: "Shockwave")
