A pantry was a place used to store food and other items before being taken to a kitchen and prepared for a meal.

In 2373, Neelix had a pantry located in storage bay 3 on the USS Voyager. Captain Kathryn Janeway later decided that storage bay 3 was to be converted into a containment chamber for sirillium, a new energy source Voyager had discovered in a class 17 nebula in the Delta Quadrant. Janeway told Neelix that he would have to make other arrangements to relocate his pantry on the ship, to which Neelix agreed. (VOY: "Flashback")
