Paedos was a name of a warrior which was given to a star by Iko, a Nygean criminal.

In 2377, Iko was shown the stars in his system by Seven of Nine in the USS Voyager's astrometrics lab. He used to look at them for hours in the night sky while on his homeworld. Iko saw two stars that he had named Gezid, after a beast and the other Paedos. He told Seven he named them so because as the distance between the two stars was always constant, Paedos, the warrior, could never reach Gezid, the beast. (VOY: "Repentance")
