Omicron Pascal was a planet.
In 2364, an unexpected situation occurred near this planet, requiring the involvement of the USS Enterprise-D. While the incident proved minor, it delayed the Enterprise's arrival at Starbase 74 by a week. (TNG: "11001001")
The previous episode, "Angel One", ended with the Enterprise responding to an unexpected distress call by a Neutral Zone outpost in an incident where seven Romulan battle cruisers were converging near the outpost.
