The Olmerak system was a star system in the Cardassian Union, which contained a Dominion base during the Dominion War. In 2375, Weyoun Seven ordered Jem'Hadar attack ships from the Olmerak system to pursue and eliminate Weyoun Six before he could defect to the Federation. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 46, the Olmerak system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a binary star system. The primary was a G-type star, and the secondary was a B-type main-sequence star.
