Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) was a plant from Earth with edible fruits.

In 2372, when Joseph Sisko reopened his restaurant after the global power grid was restored, he told Jake Sisko to start chopping the okra so that they could serve the Starfleet officers who had been deployed to the city. (DS9: "Paradise Lost")
