Okalar was a humanoid who visited Deep Space 9 in 2371. Okalar was a high roller on a winning streak at the dabo table at Quark's Bar. He was convinced by the dabo girl Mardah to take one more spin on the wheel only to lose his entire winnings of latinum. Afterward, he attempted to pursue Mardah as she went on break, but she brushed him off to sit with her boyfriend, Jake Sisko. (DS9: "The Abandoned")
