These three Odin crewmembers drifted for five months in three of the ship's escape pods until they reached the nearest M-class planet, Angel I. There they found native women and they decided to stay together against the rules of the Parliament of Angel I. After their connection was discovered and the leader Beata, the Elected One, judged them all guilty, they should be killed but Beata decided to follow the advise of Commander William T. Riker and sent the whole group into exile. (TNG: "Angel One")
