Nokia was a telecommunications company located on Earth, providing telephone services across the planet, include mobile communications.
In an alternate reality in 2241, James Kirk's stepfather's car was equipped with a Nokia mobile telephone. His stepfather used this to contact Kirk when he took the car out for a joyride. (Star Trek)
- This is the second time product placement was used in a Star Trek production, the previous two being Michelob and Macintosh in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
