Noel Anthony Clarke (born 6 December 1975; age 37) is an actor, director, and screenwriter who plays Thomas Harewood in the Star Trek Into Darkness, a family man with a wife and young daughter. [1] [2]

Clarke was born in London, England, and began acting in 1999. He appeared in fourteen episodes of the sitcom Auf Wiedersehen, Pet from 2002 to 2004, before gaining fame by appearing in Doctor Who as Mickey Smith from 2005 to 2010. He also wrote the episode "Combat" for the spin-off Torchwood.

In 2006, Clarke starred in and co-wrote the urban drama Kidulthood and directed the 2008 sequel Adulthood. He also directed, produced, wrote, and starred in 2010's 4.3.2.1 and appeared in the music drama Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2010) and the action drama Centurion (2010).

More recently he produced, wrote, and starred in the romance The Knot (2012) and in the science fiction film Storage 24 (2012). He also wrote and starred in the sport drama Fast Girls (2012), lent his voice to the animated family movie Saving Santa 2012 (2012, with Joan Collins), and will be filming the drama Bliss! (2012).
