Background Information Edit

• Paramount objected to the cover image of Kirk in distress, appearing to scream. They reasoned that it was unflattering for the character, and for Shatner. Despite explaining that the reference was from from "The Gamesters of Triskelion", Moore was urged to replace the image with something more "dignified." In addition, the editor had Moore "adjust" McCoy's mouth to be more "keyed back" and neutrally eye-pleasing." [1]
