Nicholas "Nick" Jainschigg is a comic book artist. He does some color art and paints covers. More recently, he has begun to branch off into digital artwork, but continues to paint. In 2004, he began a project called "365 Paintings In 365 Days", all oil paintings executed in 30 minutes each.

He currently teaches in the Faculty of Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design.

He has contributed cover paintings to several RPG books and two of the releases in the DC Comics Star Trek line, "The Ashes of Eden" and "TOS Special 3".
