Nibor was a Ferengi crewmember aboard the D'Kora-class starship Krayton.

In 2366, Nibor attended the biennial Trade Agreements Conference on Betazed. He attended the closing reception aboard the USS Enterprise-D where he played a game of three-dimensional chess against Commander William T. Riker.

Nibor was later in charge of guarding Riker, Deanna Troi and Lwaxana Troi while they were being held in the brig aboard the Krayton. He was fooled into releasing Riker from the cell to finish a game of chess they were playing, at which point Riker knocked Nibor out and attempted to transmit a distress call for their rescue.
