Ngomo was a Starfleet admiral who was in Starfleet in the 2370s. In 2371 she was on Earth. Following a transporter accident early that year, Admiral Ngomo wanted to come aboard the USS Defiant and supervise the investigation. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part I")
