The Nerada was a Nasari starship that was in service in the late 24th century. It was commanded by Alben.

In 2373, it was encountered by the Federation starship, USS Voyager, when Ensign Harry Kim opened fire on the ship, claiming a tetryon surge he had detected was a method of charging weapons. After a short battle with the Nerada , Kim was relieved of duty pending investigation. It eventually turned out that he was being manipulated by the Taresians, enemies of the Nasari.
