Neal McDonough (born 13 February 1966; age 58) is an actor who portrayed Lieutenant Hawk, the Enterprise-E helmsman, in Star Trek: First Contact.

McDonough is a Star Trek fan, and in playing Hawk fulfilled a lifelong dream.

His last major series was called Medical Investigation. He also had starring roles in the series Boomtown, and the Band of Brothers miniseries. His other feature film roles include Disney's baseball movie Angel in the Outfield (with Christopher Lloyd), Timeline, Minority Report, and Walking Tall opposite The Rock.

In 1995 he starred in a science fiction TV pilot called White Dwarf, where he starred as a young medical intern on the war-torn, technology-free planet Rusta. This pilot also starred Paul Winfield, Katy Boyer, Roy Brocksmith and Time Winters. He also appeared in The X-Files.

He will next appear in a film called The Guardian, co-starring Star Trek: Enterprise guest actor Clancy Brown.
