Nausicaa was a planet. It was the homeworld of the Nausicaan species. This planet was located in the Alpha Quadrant. (VOY: "Q2"; ENT: "Fortunate Son")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 60, 64), Nausicaa was located in the Nausicaa system, in the Beta Quadrant. This system was a a binary star system. Primary star was a Class M star with a magnitude of +3, which was ten times brighter than Sol. Secondary was a Class A star. In the mid-22nd century, this system was in non-aligned space. In the late 24th century, this system was located in or near Federation space.
