Nathan Effron (born 27 June 1972; age 51) is an actor who appeared as an Aenar guard in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "The Aenar" and as an Andorian officer in the episode "Babel One". As a background actor he received no credit for his appearances and was identified by the name tag of his costume from the previous episode which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay, where his name was misspelled as "Nathan Effram." Effron received a BA in Psychology from the University of Santa Cruz and is an experienced dramatic tenor, whose stage work includes the lead role as the Phantom in a version of Phantom of the Opera, performed in Jerusalem, Israel in 1993.

As an actor he played supporting and featured parts in the Step by Step episode The Understudy (1998, with Jason Marsden and Ryan Bollman), Payback (1999, with Gregg Henry and John Glover), and Red Eye (2005, with Angela Paton, Suzie Plakson, Robert Pine, Dey Young, Beth Toussaint, and Scott Leva). In addition he served on a few productions as stand-in for actors, including Jason Marsden, Mel Gibson, Sergio Garcia, and Jeremy Davies.

Beside his acting and music career, Effron is a skilled visual effects coordinator and producer, whose work include Mimic 2 (2001), the fantasy film Hansel & Gretel (2002, with Daniel Roebuck), the video game X-Men: Next Dimension (2002, starring the voices of Patrick Stewart, Jenette Goldstein, and Carlos Ferro), Red Water (2003), and the documentary The True Story of Hannibal (2005).
