In 2377, an away team from the Federation starship Voyager participated in trading negotations with the Nar Shadden over a period of five days. The away team consisted of two Humans - Lieutenant Commander Chakotay and Ensign Harry Kim - and Neelix, a Talaxian. (VOY: "Workforce, Part I")
The name could be an homage to Nar Shaddaa, the name of an infamous moon that orbits the Hutts homeworld and is often used by smugglers.
