Two Nakan, encountered by Harry Kim
The Nakan were a sentient species who colonized Tarakis sometime in the 21st century. The colonists were accidentally massacred by a military team sent to evacuate them. The team was led by Commander Saavdra, a member of this species. A memorial was erected on Takaris so they would never be forgotten. (VOY: "Memorial")
