Crewman Naiman was a member of the crew of the Enterprise NX-01 during its historic mission of exploration.

In 2152, as part of the plan to retake the ship from the Suliban Cabal, Crewman Naiman was suggested by Ensign Travis Mayweather as a candidate to crawl through the shafts housing the EPS conduits to reach Doctor Phlox's quarters, due to Naiman's small size. However, due to the fact that they did not have enough time to reach Naiman, the only other option was Ensign Sato, who undertook the journey despite her claustrophobia. (ENT: "Shockwave, Part II")
