Myers was a Human male assigned to the USS Enterprise-D in 2366. Considered by Chief Engineer Geordi La Forge as a senior officer, Mr. Myers held the rank of lieutenant junior grade.

For a week in late 2366, Acting Ensign Wesley Crusher assisted this engineer with his duties. La Forge jocularly said about the assignment, "Be sure and teach him the difference between impulse and warp drive, please." (TNG: "Hollow Pursuits")
