Musetta Vander (born 26 May 1963; age 60) is the actress who portrayed Derran Tal in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "The Disease".
Vander was born in South Africa. Other television series on which she has appeared include Boy Meets World, Highlander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Xena: Warrior Princess, Stargate SG-1, Babylon 5, and Frasier, the latter of which starred one-time TNG guest actor Kelsey Grammer.
In 1994 she appeared alongside Kate Mulgrew in an episode of Murder She Wrote entitled "The Dying Game". [1]
She was featured on the short-lived sci-fi television series Super Force (with Ken Olandt), and also occasionally as Prima on UPN's short-lived spy series Secret Agent Man with cast-regular Dina Meyer.
Vander has additionally appeared in several films. She played the role of Lash in the 1994 science fiction adventure Oblivion and its sequel, Oblivion 2: Backlash in 1996.
