For the hologram from the Fair Haven program, please see Edith Mulchaey. For the hologram from the Dixon Hill series, please see Kevin Mulkahey.

Ensign Mulchaey was a male Human Starfleet officer who served on the USS Voyager while that ship was lost in the Delta Quadrant.

In 2371, B'Elanna Torres told another engineer to "send Mulchaey, he's in deflector control" when there was work to be done that fell within his field of expertise. (VOY: "Fury")

In 2375, Torres assigned Mulchaey to work on The Doctor's mobile emitter, which had been infected with nanoprobes. Surprisingly, the assimilated emitter sampled his DNA as the template for an advanced 29th century Borg drone that came to be known as One. This made him the third parent of the drone (the other two being The Doctor and Seven of Nine). (VOY: "Drone")

In 2376, Mulchaey was ordered to report to astrometrics over the communication system. (VOY: "One Small Step")

He was also injured in this year, as he was reported to have hit his head on the ceiling when Deck 5's artificial gravity deactivated. This was a result of an electromagnetic lifeform from a nebula that had entered Voyager and took control of the ship causing ship-wide system failures. (VOY: "The Haunting of Deck Twelve")

In 2377, he was brainwashed by the Quarren after they irradiated Voyager and forced the evacuation of its crew. He, along with most of the rest of the crew, spent approximately three weeks in the largest city on Quarra; their memories were altered and they were unaware that they had been kidnapped. Neelix reported to Chakotay that Mulchaey worked in a fusion reactor with Tal Celes and that, like the other brainwashed crewmembers, the two of them didn't recognize him and loved their jobs. (VOY: "Workforce")

Ensign Mulchaey was played by actor Todd Babcock. His only on-screen appearance was in "Drone".
