Movie Magic was a documentary series broadcast by the Discovery Channel in the U.S. during 1994-1997. The series focused on various aspects of special effects used in movies and television and consisted of seventy episodes divided over five seasons.

Season 1, Episode 11: Models and Miniatures: A Model of PerfectionEdit

This episode broadcast in 1994, was totally devoted to Star Trek, in particular the episodes "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II" and "Emissary" and focused on the art of miniature photography. Apart from behind-the-scenes footage this episode also contained interviews with Howard Anderson Jr., Richard C. Datin, Jr., Robert Legato, Dan Curry and Gregory Jein. Also featured were David Carson and Tony Meininger.

Season 3, Episode 2: Space Effects: The Space RaceEdit

This episode was broadcast in 1995 and further discussed events from "Emissary".
