Mordoc was a Ferengi who served under DaiMon Tarr aboard his Marauder in 2364.
Along with the rest of the crew, Mordoc participated in the theft of a T-9 energy converter from Gamma Tauri IV. Mordoc, along with Letek and Kayron, later beamed down to a planet in the Delphi Ardu system, after their starship was immobilized above the planet by a powerful force field. He and the other members of the Ferengi science team ambushed Riker and his away team during first contact with them on the planet.
During the encounter, he was disgusted by Natasha Yar, as not only was a woman allowed to serve on a starship, but she also wore clothes. Later commenting to Portal 63 how, in the example of Yar, were "inviting others to unclothe them," calling it "the very depth of perversion." He then told Yar, who had just told him to keep his paws off, that "no female, Human or Ferengi, can order Mordoc around!" before ordering her to "Submit!"
Finally, after an understanding was reached between Portal and Riker in favor of the Humans over the Ferengi, specifically after a discussion referencing a quote from Sun Tzu, Mordoc claimed that "The truth is, I gave those words to this Human." (TNG: "The Last Outpost")
Mordoc was part of Commander William T. Riker's memories while being infected on the surface of Surata IV and treated in sickbay. (TNG: "Shades of Gray")
