Mooride polyronite 4 is one of many explosive materials available to the crew of the USS Enterprise-D in 2367 when they were trapped in a Tyken's Rift.
According to the database, this material is a "slow-burning chemical explosive used for controlled pressure wave ignition of small-scale fusion reactions. Stored in inert liquid form, activated by laser detonator." (TNG: "Night Terrors")
Background
Atoms of this material appeared in an okudagram display of explosives listed in the Enterprise-D library computer. This one in particular appears to be a reference to production staff associates Ronald B. Moore and Ronald D. Moore, with "poly-ron" referring to "more than one Ron."
