The Model A was an early American automobile built on Earth by the Ford Motor Company during the early 20th century. It was the successor of the Model T.
When Berlinghoff Rasmussen compared Data to the Model T, he corrected the professor and told him that the Model A might be a more apt analogy since he was Noonian Soong's revised prototype. (TNG: "A Matter of Time")
