Moba

A Moba fruit

Moba fruit was a tree-grown fruit native to Bajor.

In 2372, moba fruit, among other Bajoran dishes, was served aboard Deep Space 9 at the reception held for the Trill science team who was attempting to create an artificial wormhole. (DS9: "Rejoined")

During the orb experience that Kira Nerys had, she and her mother, Kira Meru, were taken to Terok Nor to be comfort women, they were given fine dresses and told to clean up. In their quarters, they found fresh moba fruit, katterpod beans, hasperat, and more. As she took a bite, Meru asked Nerys, "do you know how long it's been since I've seen fresh moba?" (DS9: "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night")

When Doctor Julian Bashir was inside Sloan's holodeck simulation in 2374, he tried ordering a breakfast of "hot buttered scones, moba jam, and red leaf tea," but the replicator was out of order. (DS9: "Inquisition")

In 2375, Dukat, posing as Anjohl Tennan, claimed to be a moba farmer from Relliketh. In a ruse, Anjohl later claimed that he spoke with his brother in Relliketh, who told him that moba saplings sprouting from the soil in their fields after only being planted there a week ago exclaiming that this impossible feat must be a sign from the Prophets. (DS9: "'Til Death Do Us Part")
