Mind Meld: Secrets Behind the Voyage of a Lifetime was a home video special released in 2001 which featured William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy conversing about their lives, their friendship, and their careers. Without a script or moderator, the two discussed filming Star Trek, the pressures experienced in their personal lives, the resentment felt by other cast members, and a variety of other topics including personal demons and mortality.

Produced by William Shatner with Melis Productions and distributed by Creative Light Entertainment for williamshatner.com, this 75-minute feature was shot entirely on Nimoy's property in Los Angeles. A majority of the film featured the two men sitting in the backyard of Nimoy's home, while a short portion in the middle showed them inside the home looking at years of collected memorabilia.
