The Mikhal Travelers were a humanoid species in the Delta Quadrant. Only loosely governed, they were driven by the need to explore space. Their ships were small and carried only a pilot and navigator, though they were capable of high warp speeds. The Mikhal Travelers maintained outposts to act as supply depots for their ships, although they viewed such sedentary facilities as a necessary evil rather than a comfort.

In 2373, the USS Voyager halted at one such outpost to obtain information about what lay in the space ahead of them. (VOY: "Darkling")
