Real World article
(written from a Production point of view)

Michael Sellers is a comic book artist from near Baltimore, Maryland.

While he was growing up, he was always drawing and comics had a large influence on his art. He was one of the first students accepts to the Baltimore School for the Arts when it opened before attending the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. During his time at school, he worked at Sea World in Ohio as a caricature artist, fine-tuning his talent, and found a job with DC Comics upon finishing school.

He started there in 1992 as a production artist for art and lettering corrections. He was eventually promoted to Assistant Production Manager, and his first book credit was inking the "Spot's Day" story for "TNG Special 1". After working on the editorial staff, he eventually became a freelance artist and began teaching at the Joe Kubert School at the same time.

He has worked as an Art Director for several firms since, and now runs his own studio, Circle N Line Studios.
