Stribling's cover for Burden of Knowledge #1

Michael Stribling is a comic book artist, specializing in cover art.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design, he worked as a graphic designer for The Georgia Guardian before freelancing for a period of time as an artist and designer. He moved into the entertainment business in 1998 when he joined Aston Worldwide Animation before moving to Visual Concepts Entertainment, where he worked on art for the NBA "2K" series of video games. That led to a position as the lead concept artist on the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer video game and conceptual art positions on the Iron Man, Golden Axe, and Thor videogames. During this time, he freelanced as a comic book artist and in addition to the full art on one issue of the The Phantom: Generations series, Stribling has produced cover art for several series including six issues in the JLA: Classified series from DC Comics and two in the Buckaroo Bonzai: Return of the Screw series from Moonstone.

Current work includes his company Stribling and Associates and work as the Art Director for LeapFrog

His first work for the Star Trek franchise was the retail incentive cover art for the first issue of Burden of Knowledge, "Uncertain Prescriptions", a piece of art that was used as the promotional material for the series by IDW Publishing.
