Michael Jace played the USS Odyssey's first officer in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Jem'Hadar".

He has appeared in many successful movies such as Forrest Gump (1994), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Boogie Nights (1997), The Replacements (2000), Planet of the Apes (2001), Bathsheba and Fair Game (both 2005). His next feature, Gridiron Gang (2006), also features Leon Rippy and Dwayne Johnson.

He also plays Julien Lowe, a regular on The Shield, along with Jay Karnes, Abby Brammell and Benito Martinez.
