Michael Halperin is a writer credited for writing the story TNG: "Lonely Among Us".

In addition to his one Star Trek writing credit, Halperin also submitted at least one other undeveloped story for TNG, entitled "See Spot Run".

Halperin had a handful of other TV series writing credits, mostly during the 1980s. Of note, include his episode "Santini's Millions" written for the Airwolf series. This episode featured such Star Trek guest actors as Douglas Warhit, Joseph Ruskin, and Conroy Gedeon.

He also wrote an episode, titled "House of Cards" for the soap opera series Falcon Crest, featuring Robert Foxworth.
