Michael Durrell (born 6 October 1943; age 80) is the actor from Brooklyn, New York, who played Hazar in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Sanctuary".

Durrell is best known for his role as Robert Maxwell in the 1983 NBC mini series V; he reprised his role as Maxwell in the 1984 sequel V: The Final Battle. He also appeared in the first episode of V: The Series as Maxwell. (V and V: The Final Battle also featured Andrew Prine and Richard Herd. V: The Final Battle also featured Dick Miller and Mark L. Taylor)

Durrell was a main cast member in Matlock from 1986 to 1990. He reprised the role in the 1991 television movie Matlock: The Suspect. He also had a recurring role as Dr. John Martin in Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1993 to 2000 (with Ann Gillespie). Durrell also guest starred in Dexter, The Mindy Project, Desperate Housewives, ER, NYPD Blue, Knight Rider, Remington Steele, Mrs. Columbo (with Kate Mulgrew) and Silk Stalkings.

In 1992, he starred in Sister Act with Whoopi Goldberg and Max Grodénchik. In 2005, he starred in two motion pictures and a television movie. In Rumor Has It he starred with Andy Milder, Jordan Lund and Christopher McDonald. In Magma he played the President of the United States. His third movie of the year was Bald. Durrell's first motion picture debut came in Thank God It's Friday (1980, with stunts coordinated by Star Trek: The Original Series stuntman Phil Adams). He starred in The American Success Company (1980, with fellow Deep Space Nine guest John Glover), and also appeared in Bayou Romance (1982, starring Michael Ansara) and Defending Your Life (1991, with Julie Cobb, Ken Thorley and Time Winters).
