Template:Realworld Michael De Luca (born 1965) pitched the story for the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Threshold".

He co-wrote several episodes of the horror anthology series Freddy's Nightmares. This led to his writing the screenplay for the 1991 film Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, which he also executive produced. He later wrote and executive produced 1995's In the Mouth of Madness, which starred the likes of Bernie Casey, John Glover, and David Warner. He also co-wrote the screen story for Judge Dredd, also released in 1995.
