Michael Champion (3 November 194616 June 2021; age 74) was the actor who portrayed Boratus in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "Captain's Holiday".

Born as Michael Edward Campbell in Anderson, Indiana, Champion is probably best remembered for his supporting role as Helm in Total Recall (1990), which also featured Trek performers Ronny Cox, Lycia Naff, Mel Johnson, Jr., Roy Brocksmith, Robert Costanzo, Marc Alaimo, Ken Gildin, Erik Cord, Frank Kopyc, Milt Tarver, Robert Picardo, and Kamala Lopez-Dawson.

1984 saw Champion co-starring in Beverly Hills Cop, which included Jonathan Banks, Steven Berkoff, Ronny Cox, and Douglas Warhit. In 1991, Champion once again worked with Next Generation star Wil Wheaton in the action drama Toy Soldiers. Champion also appeared in 10 (1979, with Denise Crosby, John Hancock, Lisa Chess, Jeannetta Arnette, and William Lucking).

Champion passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 74. [1]
