Michael Carlin (born 6 October 1958; age 54) is a comic book writer and editor. He began his career at Marvel Comics as a writer, and eventually became an editor. He later moved to DC Comics, where he wrote several issues in their Star Trek licensed lines. He is likely best known as "the man who changed Superman's costume."
