Michael Bryant (also known as Alan Brennert) wrote the fourth season Star Trek: Enterprise episodes "Cold Station 12" and "Daedalus". He was also a consulting producer for the season's first eleven episodes.

He was the plotter for issue #12 "Eclipse of Reason" of the Original Series comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Bryant – often credited as Brennert – also wrote scripts for Wonder Woman, The Twilight Zone, China Beach (a series starring Robert Picardo, Jeff Kober, Megan Gallagher, and Concetta Tomei, L.A. Law (starring Corbin Bernsen and Larry Drake), The Outer Limits, and Odyssey 5.
