Deletion rationale

It is unnecessary to specifically point out what has not changed in the timeline, as it is assumed that aspects have not changed unless it is specifically shown that they have. Basically the page would contain everything on the site not mentioned in the 2009 or the next film. There is also an external link to a similar article on the alternate reality page. 31dot (talk) 10:55, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

Discussion

  • Delete - I made my views clear on the discussion page that appropriate articles on the alternate reality and its tie-in media discuss the differences. --Alientraveller (talk) 13:02, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Delete. I don't see the need of such an article. It is also unclear which point of view this should have. Tom (talk) 14:24, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Delete: Good reasons for deletion have been stated above. --Jörg (talk) 14:57, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Delete or merge with the alternate reality article. - Archduk3 17:25, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Delete: I consider this page as having a built-in failure rate. Until this experiment with the alternate reality ends, I believe we won't know for sure what has been changed or what hasn't been changed. Look at what happened with the Star Trek: Star Charts. One of the contributors, at TrekBBS, admitted that the book was obsolete at time of publication. Let's take one example. After the book was published, we discover that there is a second M-class desert planet in the Vulcan system. (When I am writing desert here, I am thinking of Antarctica. This continent is classified as a desert.) This information sunk the Vulcan system model as it was presented in the book. So, I vote for deletion.Throwback (talk) 16:16, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
