Melissa Eastman started her career modeling in New York City. She then moved to Los Angeles and began doing extra work on films and television. The move led her into doing body double and stand-in work on the movie Addams Family Values.
Eastman later did a featured stunt in the comedy show called The Edge. She got her break in a recurring role as a cop on Bodies of Evidence, starring Lee Horsley and George Clooney in 1992. She guest-starred on Beverly Hills 90210 as Debbie. She also appeared on a 1-900-Psychic infomercial. Then Melissa became the game show hostess of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine when she played the lead female Wadi on the first season episode "Move Along Home".
