Melissa Eastman is the actress who appeared as the lead female Wadi in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Move Along Home". As a background actress she received no credit for this appearance and was identified by the name tag of her costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

A photography of Eastman was part of the DS9 Season 1 DVD special feature "Michael Westmore's Aliens: Season One" in which Michael Westmore discussed the make-up of the Wadi.

She started her career modeling in New York City before moving to Los Angeles, where she began doing extra work on films and in television. The move led her into doing body double and stand-in work on the movie Addams Family Values, starring Christopher Lloyd and Carel Struycken.

Eastman later did a featured stunt in the comedy show called The Edge. She got her break in a recurring role as a police officer on the 1992-93 series Bodies of Evidence, starring a pre-ER George Clooney as well as Michele Scarabelli, Biff Yeager, and Jennifer Hetrick. She also guest-starred on Beverly Hills 90210 as Debbie and appeared on a 1-900-Psychic infomercial.
