Meles II was the inhabited second planet in its star system. This planet was near to the Detrian system.
The planet's inhabitants were friendly and welcoming, a fact that led William T. Riker to suggest it as a destination for James Moriarty and Regina Barthalomew when they departed the USS Enterprise-D in the Type 7 shuttlecraft Sakharov as part of a holodeck simulation in 2369. (TNG: "Ship In A Bottle")
This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
