Mega Bloks, Inc. is a Canadian-based toy manufacturer that specializes in construction toys.
For a short time, Mega Bloks had a licensing agreement with the Star Trek franchise to design and manufacture a model for their ProBuilder Showcase Series. In 2004, they introduced the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) (#9777) which came to be the only model that they released based on the franchise.
The set included a model of the Enterprise-D (with build-up showcase stand), along with a Captain Picard minifigure (with corresponding display base and type 2 phaser). The model – which measured 14.25 inches (36.1 cm) in length by 10.5 inches (26.6 cm) in width by 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) in height – had 945 pieces and was recommended for modelers age 10+.
