McConnell is the last name of the actress who played a Malcorian minister in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "First Contact" in 1991. She filmed her scenes on Wednesday 5 December 1990 on Paramount Stage 9 and was identified by the call sheets of the episode.

Her costume from this episode was previously worn by actress Juli Donald in her role of Tayna in the third season episode "A Matter of Perspective" and was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
